Central Zone of Education Office Opening Ceremony
A
new Zonal Department of Education named "Batticaloa Central Zonal Education
Department" was declared open by the Hon. Minister of Education Susil
Premajayantha totay the 27th of August 2007 at 4.00 P.M.
Minister of Disaster Relief Services, Al-Haj M.S.S.
Ameer Ali, MP , Minister of Local Government, Al-Haj Basheer Segudawood, MP,
and Governor of Eastern Province, Rear Admiral Mohan Samaranayake are also
participating in this event.
New Zonal Director of Education of
Batticaloa Central Zone of Education Al-Haj U.L.M. Jainudeen
Al-Haj U.L.M Jainudeen is the new Zonal Director of
Education of Batticaloa Central Zone of Education. All the Muslim schools in
Batticaloa district comes under this newly established zonal education office.
Till the proposed building for the new zonal education office is completed, it
will be functioning temporarily at MPCS building, near the Eravur polish.
